United Sportsplex and United Basketball Association (UBA) have partnered with Chris Lewis Basketball (CLB) for Elite Skills Training sessions this February 2022. The youth training program is open to boys and girls, ages 9 to 17.
Class Types:
- Intermediate: skill development and skill application for all levels.
- Advanced: skill development and skill application for players with a base foundation and that are ready for more higher level concepts.
Skills we’ll cover in the classes:
- Ball Handling/Footwork: Teaching how and why footwork goes hand in hand with ball handling. And relating this with finishing.
- Finishing/Shooting: Focus on form and footwork by using various types of shots. (off the dribble, catch and shoot as well as off screens).
- Game Application: We will have controlled live situations (1 on 1 or 3 on 3) that will teach players how to read the game and apply the skill to the game.
